Herbal Vedic Herbal Toothpaste - Spearmint Flavor, 3.5 oz

After years of research, the Herbal Vedic toothpaste was developed. First, traditional Ayurvedic herbs were found which were considered useful for dental hygiene. Next, the literature was researched to determine which of these herbs were actually most effective. Clinical studies were carried out and we determined that Neem and Triphala were in fact most beneficial for oral hygiene. Literature from Europe further indicated that Myrrh Gum Resin was especially beneficial for toning the gums. Eventually a combination of 26 herbal extracts was developed to provide a synergistic combination to support the action of these 3 primary ingredients for dental hygiene and quality care of both teeth and gums.The next step was to develop a vehicle for the herbs. The foaming action and taste were considered. The paste needed to have an even consistency and not have any drying after-taste. After numerous experiments, carried out over a number of years, just the right balance of taste, foaming action and moisturizing effect was achieved.Finally, the freshness and flavor had to be assured. We developed two flavors, Spearmint and Anise. The Spearmint flavor compares favorably with the most popular toothpastes found in America. Spearmint ranks overall as the most popular taste for Americans.
